What words German parliamentary parties use in their election manifestos

Every four years there are federal elections in Germany and every four years the parties publish their election manifestos. The scrollytelling website 'Wortwahl' shows the words that major German parties use to talk about climate issues in their programs. The project is based on the 2021 election and the visualizations show which topics are at the heart of each party's manifesto. It also shows how closely word choice and political ideology are interwoven. An explorative tool at the bottom of the page allows visitors to search for words in the election manifestos themselves.
